Class 5.1 - Oxidizing Substances - 30105

This Class 5.1 - Oxidizing Substances sign/placard is used to warn of potentially hazardous materials in transit. Division 5.1 contains substances which, while in themselves not necessarily combustible, may, generally by yielding oxygen, cause, or contribute to, the combustion of other material (e.g. nitrate fertiliser).

If the warning diamond is being posted on a background which does not provide a contrasting colour with the sign, for example a yellow diamond on a yellow background, the dotted boundary alternative must be used - 5.2.2.2.1.1 ADR (European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) applicable from January 2011).
